Our member from Bangladesh, Refugee and Migratory Movements Research Unit (RMMRU) is organising, with Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2), a webinar ‘Hunger Games for real: The Bangla worker abroad’

The webinar is on June 3, 8:oo PM (Singapore Standard Time), is planned for 90 minutes, and listen in to a unique panel of experts who will share the different experiences from various parts of Asia: Qatar, Malaysia and South Korea. They include a professor of migration ethics and human rights, an executive director of a premier migration think tank, and a lawyer-cum-activist for the cause. It will also have a migrant worker turned social worker from Bangladesh itself, which will give a perspective from the origin country.
