Workshop of the Framework on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights

The Office of the High
Commissioner for Human Rights and the Thai Government will organize the
15th Workshop of the Framework on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion
and Protection of Human Rights in Asia Pacific from 21-23 April in
Bangkok. The last workshop was held in Bali, Indonesia in 2007.

15th Workshop of the Framework on Regional Cooperation for the Promotion
and Protection of Human Rights in Asia Pacific from 21-23 April in
Bangkok. The last workshop was held in Bali, Indonesia in 2007. 

The workshop will focus on the theme: Strengthening regional
human rights mechanism by sharing best practises and experiences.
There will be a one day consultation on 20 April for observers from
national human rights institutions and NGOs who participated in the
workshop.
Participation in this workshop by NGOs and civil society
organisations within the Asia Pacific regional framework is highly
encouraged.
