Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights & Development (19-25 November)

The Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights & Development is the first programme of its kind developed by the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA). It provides a comprehensive set of knowledge and skills to human rights and development activists from Asia and beyond.

Extremely qualified and experienced facilitators, as well as international experts, will guide the participants through the most relevant and pressing issues related to human rights and development. The participants will learn and engage in interactive sessions throughout the 7-day programme touching upon, among others, human rights advocacy and mechanisms, global campaigns, sustainable development goals, and business and human rights. All participants will receive high-quality reading and training materials. All sessions will be conducted in English.

Dates & Venue

The first edition of the Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights & Development will take place in Thailand from 19-25 November 2017. Details about the venue will be announced soon on FORUM-ASIA website, Facebook & Twitter.

Participants

Participants from all over Asia and beyond are expected to participate in the first edition of the Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights & Development.

The total fees for the programme will be USD 1000.00 per person. FORUM-ASIA will provide fellowships for those participants from the member organisations of FORUM-ASIA or for those exceptional candidates coming from organisations that may not have adequate finance resources. While the programme will be opened to participants all over the world, it is expected to have more participants from the Asia region.
