Gwangju Prize for Human Rights Award: open for nomination

the May 18 Memorial Foundation has honoured individuals or
organisations who have contributed to promotion and advancement of
human rights, democracy and peace in their work. The award for 2010 is
now open for nomination.

the May 18 Memorial Foundation has honoured individuals or
organisations who have contributed to promotion and advancement of
human rights, democracy and peace in their work. The award for 2010 is
now open for nomination.

The
prize will be presented to the laureate at a ceremony in Gwangju, South
Korea,
on 18 May, which is the anniversary of the Gwangju Uprising. The award
consists of a gold medal, a certificate and a 50 million Korean
Won.
