CHINA – Jail sentence upheld for activist Huang Qi

CHRD learned today that Chengdu City Intermediate Court rejected the appeal of human rights activist and director of Tianwang Human Rights Center (www.64tianwang.com) , Huang Qi. A 37-year-old man in Bangladesh who was working in production of sanitation ware and social forestry was shot to death by police in November 2009.
